Subhendu is a chemical engineer by profession and have over 12 years experience in oil & gas and petrochemical plants. Have experience in pre-comisioning, comissioning of FCCU unit, PTA unit and HDPE units. Subhendu has vast experience in process engineering, instrumentation, Management System Audits, Consulting and Training, Sustainability Strategy development, guiding organisations to a low carbon growth path etc. He has been involved in process improvement studies, delivering Management Systems, Consulting and Training Services to a vast variety of clients globally like Essar Oil, ONGC, Indian Oil, ITC, Vedanta Group, BP, Shell, SAFREF (South Africa), ETP (UK), Kenertec ( South Korea) etc.

A brief on his working experience includes the following:

• Conducted First / Second and Third Party audits of in different kind of Large, Medium and Small scale Manufacturing, Process and Service industries. Previous experience with Power plants, Boiler manufacturing units, Cross Country Pipeline, Petrochemical Projects, grass route refineries.
• Experience in Power sector – gap anaysis and implementation of energy management system in 1200 MW coal based power project, carbon managemnet and carbon strategy for fossill fuel based energy generation system.
• Advisory in conceptualisation and tech transfer for the first green power project in UAE.
• Member of industry forums like Indian Chamber of commerce (ICC) and Bengal chamber of commerce (BCC)
• Advisory, Engineering & Consulting Experience in more than 10 countries
• Has extensive experience in training of corporates in carbon management, low carbon growth stategies, clean tech applications and econmics, energy management.
• He has served as Technical Resource– East in Det Norske Veritas (DNV) for Climate change and has working experience in over 500 CDM projects. Was the only sector expert from DNV under fugitive emissions during his stay with DNV.
